MASH EX&HOP Ramp Contest presented by ISPO
Get the date in your diary NOW! From 1 to 3 July 2016, the Munich Action Sports Heroes will once again be presenting the next level of action sports in the city’s legendary Olympic Park.
The countdown to this year’s MUNICH MASH begins at the end of January with an exclusive warm-up event to be held at this year’s ISPO, the world’s largest trade fair for sporting goods and sportswear, which takes place every winter in Munich. From 24 to 27 January, pros and amateurs will showcase their freestyle skills and go head to head in exciting competitions at the MASH EX&HOP Ramp Contest presented by ISPO. Athletes in attendance include Great Britain’s Alex Hallford and BMX riders such as Sergio Layos from Spain.
But that’s not all! On the first three days, the sporting competitions will be followed by a live music act. On Sunday (from 17:30) Q-Box from Pentenried in Bavaria will bring their unique brand of heavy metal to the ISPO. On Monday (from 18:00) it is the turn of crossover rock trio Radio Haze to take the stage. And finally, on Tuesday (18:30) Sundog will bring a flavour of heavy blues metal to Munich.
Every day there will also be a MASH Chillout Area in Hall B6 (Stand B6.325) open from 9:00 featuring a bar, a B2B area and a Riders’ Lounge for the action sports heroes themselves.
The MASH EX&HOP Ramp Contest presented by ISPO will be organised by MUNICH MASH in cooperation with the ISPO and Further UG, the Munich-based agency that has run the well-known EX&HOP Contests since 2008. One of the most important EX&HOP stops taking place in Germany is, of course, at MUNICH MASH in the Olympic Park. Further international stops will be held in France, Austria, Indonesia and Australia.
