We are delighted that you have chosen to visit our website. We take the protection of your privacy very seriously when collecting, processing and using your personal data pursuant to the statutory provisions. On this page, you will find information regarding how we handle your personal data.

The declaration concerning data protection applies only to this website. Please note that it does not apply to websites to which a link is provided from this website.

Further important information can also be found in the general Terms of Use.

Personal data

Personal data within the meaning of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) are deemed to be individual data concerning the personal and factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes data such as name, address, telephone number, date of birth, occupation or bank details. Information which cannot be directly linked to a person's identity, e.g. favourite websites or the number of visitors to a site, are not considered personal data.

According to the BDSG and other data protection regulations, all these data are all subject to special protection which we ensure through technical and organisational measures.

Collection of personal data

We do not require any personal data from you when you visit our website. You may access the information it contains anonymously. We merely store in our server your IP address, the website that referred you to us, your browser type and operating system version as well as the pages you visit on our site. These data will only be evaluated statistically and not in a manner which can be traced back to you, in order to further improve our internet presence for you.

We will only collect your data if you use one of our services voluntarily; that is, sign up for our newsletter or send us a message. If you do not wish for your personal data to be submitted to and stored by us, we request that you decline the voluntary provision of these data.

Users of our business partner lounge are required to enter the necessary data and become registered; specifying a company name will suffice in this case (required fields: self-selected user name, first name, last name and email address). This information will remain in our database until it is deleted directly from the database by an administrator. If it is deleted by an editor, it will continue to be stored in the database, but will be marked as "deleted".

We use personal data for the purpose of technical administration of our websites and for customer administration, to the extent required. Furthermore, personal data are only stored when provided voluntarily.

Use and disclosure of personal data

Any personal data we obtain from you via our website will only be processed and used for the purposes specifically indicated.

We will not share your personal data with any third party. An exception applies only if you have been expressly informed and given us your consent.

The data you provide while visiting our website will then be transmitted by the web server and stored in the database of the web server / technical service provider, e.g. for the purpose of sending newsletters.

Security

The personal data you share with us via on-line forms on this website are transmitted by your PC via a non-secure internet connection. We therefore request that you do not communicate any data by these means which could be intercepted over the internet and misused by third parties.

Our employees are bound to compliance with the principles of data protection in accordance with § 5 of the BDSG. Access to the data you provide to us is controlled by an authorisation scheme to ensure that only authorised employees are able to view these data.

Users can delete the cookies saved locally on their computer at any time.

Any of the website's functions can still be used without cookies; however, certain user-defined properties and settings will not be available.

Cookies are small text files which are saved locally on the clipboard of the internet browser of the person visiting the site, and facilitate recognition of the browser.

The data collected using etracker technologies will not be used to personally identify the visitor of this website without express consent and will not be merged with personal data relating to the bearer of this synonym. Collection and storage of data can be objected to at any time with future effect – exclude from data storage now
