Athletes experience a revival from 2017 at the BMX contest. With their invitational contest, they move from the Olympic Lake back to Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz and show off their skills on the Spine Ramp, surrounded by spectators - it could hardly be closer to the action. The spine ramp is regarded as the evolution of the miniramp and is the most dynamic and one of the most important disciplines in BMX freestyle. Those who excel here have the best prerequisites for BMX Park - the discipline that will be held for the second time this year at the Olympic Games in Paris. The mixture of quarter pipe, spine, extension, wall ride and sub box turn the ramp into a 250 square metre "playground" up to four metres high, where twelve top stars from the BMX freestyle scene will compete - trick fireworks are guaranteed.

Skateboarding - the bedrock of action sports - was at the start for the first time in 2015 with the Skateboard Street Rink in the Olympic Ice Stadium at MASH. This year, it's off the ice and into cool waters, symbolically speaking: Red Bull Pool Drop brings the most talented and creative international skateboarders from the street and bowl disciplines to Munich. The athletes will be able to show off their skateboard performance on a brand new swimming pool-style set-up on the Olympic Lake. Well-known pool elements turn the swimming paradise into a skateboard paradise. International world elite will meet local heroes.

In 2016, this contest made its debut with the Wakeboard Big Air. And just like MASH itself, this competition has continued to evolve: The set-ups have become more impressive from year to year - right down to spectacular signature features. In 2024, there will once again be a team contest in addition to the individual contest for women and men. And the first athletes have already confirmed their participation, including Julia Rick, Felix Georgii, "newcomer" Nils Ritzmann, who was named Men's Rider of the Year and Most Improved Rider of the Year 2023 at the Cable Mekka Awards in January, and of course Nico von Lerchenfeld, who is one of Germany's top wakeboarders and has already taken all three MASH podium places as a "regular guest". International stars will also be competing, such as last year's winners Pedro Caldas (BRA) and Lisa Baloo (ISR), as well as the Stuckey brothers (USA) and Claudia Pagnini (ITA).
