BMX

The BMX contest was back to the lake. After the Spine Ramp on Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Square 2024, this year twelve of the best international BMX athletes were once again presenting their tricks on a challenging miniramp landscape at the Olympic Lake! Not only was first-class sport guaranteed here, but also once again an excellent view of the contest in a unique setting. The set-up demanded a lot of creativity and trickery from the riders in their 50-second runs in the qualifiers and for the top eight through to the final.

Skateboard

After last year's street contest, this year's skateboard competition and its set-up was once again transition-heavy for the skateboarders. The Lakeside Bowl from 2023, which the skaters shared with the BMX riders, got a gentle update with new lines and features. There were six women and twelve men at the start, of course all top athletes from the international scene. They provided plenty of action on the platform on the Olympic Lake with technical lip tricks and airtime.

Wakeboard

The twelve men and six women competing here were among the absolute top wakeboarders in the world. Exciting runs on a challenging set-up were expected. In addition to the ‘classic’ men's and women's contest, there was a brand new team competition this year: in the double line format, two athletes rode at the same time, which ensured even more action and excitement.
