DAY 1 at MASH
It was a perfect start! With 14,000 visitors, the Munich action sports festival experienced one of the best Fridays in the ten-year history of MASH. All the contests and the MASH Fest were well attended and the atmosphere was fantastic!
In the qualifier for the Skateboard Red Bull Pool Drop, Japan's Miyu Ito took first place, Leticia Bufoni (BRA) second and Roos Zwestsloot from the Netherlands third. Zuza Bone (POL), Lore Bruggemann (BEL) and Christiana Means (PHI) also qualified for the women's final on Saturday. Angelo Caro (PER) took first place in the men's qualification, Dashawn Jordan (USA) came second and Kairi Netsuke (JPN) third. Jake Ilardi (USA), Rob Pace (AUS), Jost Arens (GER), Alex Midler (USA) and TJ Rogers (CAN) will also be competing in the final.
The wakeboard team contest was won by Team Green with Claudia Pagnini (ITA), Gavin Stuckey (USA) and Felix Georgii (GER), ahead of Team Red with Katinka Buiting (NLD), Joe Battleday (GBR) and Rudy Talboys (GBR).
At the Streetdance Preselection in the Olympic Hall, the teams Coolkidz Mob, Smach, Coolkidz Mob WS and Alfonzo Fred qualified for the International Breaking 2vs2 Mixed competition on Saturday and The K, Mady, Kenshu, David and Flash Haddi will be taking part in International All Style Mixed 7-to-smoke.
