DAY 1 at MASH
Even though the weather didn't quite play along, 10,000 visitors experienced an exciting first day of MASH. Unfortunately, the skateboard qualification had to be stopped in the late afternoon due to rain and postponed to the next day. But just in time for the wakeboard team contest, the weather was favourable. This year's motto was: two starters - double the action and excitement. For the first time in Wakeboard-MASH history, the competition was held in a double-line format. Two wakeboarders competed at the same time and thrilled the audience with plenty of creativity and breathtaking tricks. In the end, Britain's Liam Peacock and Nico von Lerchenfeld (Cologne) clearly won the contest. Benny Heatley (AUS) and Campell Scarborough (USA), who were the only mixed team to make it to the final, came second. Felix Georgii (Allgäu) and Basty Dunn (AUS) finished in third place.
